Protocol ADL-2026-P
Privacy in
Predictive Analytics.
At Akdeniz Data Lab, privacy is not a compliance checklist; it is the bedrock of our analytical methodology. As a leading research lab in Turkey, we harmonize global standards with localized data protection laws (KVKK) to ensure that every byte of information serves a rigorous scientific purpose without compromising individual identity.
Scientific Methodology in Information Collection
We collect data only as necessitated by the scope of our predictive models. This includes telemetric site performance metrics, professional inquiries from peer researchers, and subscription preferences for our educational resources.
Analytical Attributes
Aggregated interaction metrics used to train our predictive analytics engines. This data is fully anonymized before any modeling occurs.
Identity Parameters
Name and institutional email provided during professional collaboration requests. These are stored separately from research datasets.
Telemetric Logs
IP addresses and browser fingerprints utilized for cybersecurity audit trails and regional optimization within Turkey's digital infrastructure.
Turkish Data Residency
All research data is stored on localized infrastructure within Turkey. We prioritize local storage cycles to remain compliant with KVKK regulations, ensuring lower latency for regional analytics and higher sovereignty for Turkish research institutions.
TLS 1.3 Encryption
End-to-end mathematical obfuscation for every interaction between your terminal and our lab servers.
72-Hour Purge
Non-essential diagnostic logs are automatically purged every 72 hours to minimize surface vulnerability.
The Multi-Tier access model
Access to sensitive datasets is restricted to authorized senior researchers at Akdeniz Data Lab, multi-factor authenticated and logging-audited in real-time.
What we disclose
-
Legal Mandates: Disclosure to Turkish regulatory bodies if legally compelled by the judicial system of the Republic of Turkey.
-
Service Partners: Secure transmission to hosting providers who strictly adhere to our data sovereignty policies.
What we never do
-
Data Monetization: We do not sell research insights or participant IDs to third-party marketing entities.
-
Cross-Site Tracking: We do not employ third-party tracking pixels for behavioral advertising.
Your Rights Under Data Protection Laws.
Under the Law on Protection of Personal Data (KVKK) in Turkey and aligned global frameworks, you retain full control over your footprint within our research lab. You have the right to request access to the data we hold, rectify inaccuracies, or exercise your right to be forgotten.
To initiate a request, please contact our Data Protection Officer (DPO) at the lab. Every inquiry is verified via cryptographic challenge to ensure no unauthorized data disclosure occurs during the correction process.
